How great is the fuel economy?

Standard under the hood of every 2018 Hyundai Accent is a 1.6-liter inline-4 engine. This engine produces a strong 130 horsepower and 119 lb-ft of torque. The SE trim comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, but this can be exchanged for the six-speed automatic. On the SEL and Limited trims, the six-speed automatic comes standard. The EPA has given this engine an estimated fuel economy rating of 28 miles per gallon in the city and 37 miles per gallon on the highway with the manual transmission and 28 miles per gallon in the city and 38 miles per gallon on the highway with the automatic transmission.
